FLEET SUPERVISOR – MWM ENVIRONMENTAL

We are looking for hands-on Fleet Supervisor to oversee our fleet operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. This individual will be responsible for four locations; Souris, Morden, Portage and Niverville.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Supervise daily operations of the fleet, including maintenance, scheduling, and compliance
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet safety and regulatory requirements
• Support a team of drivers and mechanics, fostering a culture of safety and accountability
• Work alongside Mechanics to ensure smooth workflow on a day-to-day basis
• Create and complete daily work orders on all mobile equipment
• Monitor equipment trend to detect possible catastrophic failure
• Maintain part inventory at all locations.
• Work cohesively with Management to develop a long-term asset replacement plan.
• Monthly reporting on process improvements, cost saving initiatives, costs per hour/km and asset uptime/downtime.
• Projects and tasks as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Minimum three years experience in fleet management, transportation, or logistics (waste management experience is a plus)
• Heavy equipment mechanical experience is considered an asset
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, fleet maintenance, and safety protocols
• Ability to analyze data and implement efficiency improvements
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills considered an asset
• Proficiency in fleet management software and reporting tools
