FLEET SUPERVISOR – MWM ENVIRONMENTAL
We are looking for hands-on Fleet Supervisor to oversee our fleet operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. This individual will be responsible for four locations; Souris, Morden, Portage and Niverville.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Supervise daily operations of the fleet, including maintenance, scheduling, and compliance
- Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet safety and regulatory requirements
- Support a team of drivers and mechanics, fostering a culture of safety and accountability
- Work alongside Mechanics to ensure smooth workflow on a day-to-day basis
- Create and complete daily work orders on all mobile equipment
- Monitor equipment trend to detect possible catastrophic failure
- Maintain part inventory at all locations.
- Work cohesively with Management to develop a long-term asset replacement plan.
- Monthly reporting on process improvements, cost saving initiatives, costs per hour/km and asset uptime/downtime.
- Projects and tasks as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Minimum three years experience in fleet management, transportation, or logistics (waste management experience is a plus)
- Heavy equipment mechanical experience is considered an asset
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, fleet maintenance, and safety protocols
- Ability to analyze data and implement efficiency improvements
- Organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills considered an asset
- Proficiency in fleet management software and reporting tools
