Lora joined the West-Can HR team in 2018 as a recruiter, she has recently completed her Registered Professional Recruiter program through the Institute of Professional Management. She also graduated from Assiniboine Community College’s Applied Counselling Program which prepared her for management roles in Non-Profit Mental Health, Career Development and Employment organizations.

Lora applies her skills to connect with job seekers and clients helping to foster positive outcomes and building lasting professional relationships, through actively listening to the client and job seekers needs. Whether that means finding the best candidate for the client or assisting with career counselling to job seekers during an initial meeting. Lora enjoys meeting members of the community, learning and keeping the network of job seekers updated and focusing on mental health initiatives in the workplace. This passion for assisting individuals who may be struggling extends into volunteering with the SPIN – Suicide Prevention Implementation Network as a board member and treasurer.

When Lora is not working with an amazing team of HR professionals at West-Can HR, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking her dog for hikes, fishing and camping with her husband and streaming the next addicting show on Netflix.
