Working closely with Production, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Shipping, and transportation partners, you’ll coordinate less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments, manage freight quotes, monitor delivery performance, and keep customers informed every step of the way. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Coordinate daily LTL shipments to align with production schedules, customer needs, and carrier availability
  • Secure freight quotes and select cost-effective transportation solutions
  • Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, TDG paperwork, and customer shipping notifications (ASNs)
  • Track outbound shipments, monitor delivery performance, and resolve delays or transportation issues
  • Communicate shipment status with customers, carriers, Sales, Customer Service, Project Managers, and internal teams
  • Monitor backorders, shipping schedules, production reports, and logistics reports to support on-time delivery
  • Serve as the primary contact for LTL shipping inquiries and shipment updates
  • Ship TDG overland in compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Some overtime and schedule flexibility may be required during peak business periods

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; Business Administration education is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, warehousing, transportation, or a related field
  • Experience coordinating LTL freight and working with transportation carriers
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and logistics or ERP systems
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation CITT designation is an asset
  • TDG certification, or willingness to obtain certification
