Information West-Can HR May Collect
West-Can HR collects personal information from individuals when they apply for work through the Site, subscribe to job updates/notifications, contact us for staffing service, or general inquiries from candidates or clients.
Personal information collected by West-Can HR may include:
- Name and contact information (your name, address, email, phone number, and any other information you share)
- Work related preferences (job type, temporary or permanent, field of work, desired wage)
- Resume related information, such as employment history, level of education, skills and abilities, physical resumes and cover letters, communication details, references and their contact information
West-Can HR reserves the right to collect information from third parties or information that is easily accessible online information. This includes publicly accessible social media posts/sites, blogs, and other online activity.
How West-Can HR Uses Information Collected
West-Can HR commits to only collecting information for which there is an intended purpose. Should the collected information need to be used for purposes other than those stated, separate consent will be obtained. The collected information will only be used for the below stated purposes
- Onboarding candidates to the Jobseeker Network
- Contacting prospective candidates and clients to share information about opportunities or respond to service requests
- To verify employment history and/or suitability for a position
- Protection against online threats such as spam bots and malware
- Legal and regulatory compliance requirements
Information Sharing and Disclosure
West-Can HR reserves the right to disclose jobseeker information, with the jobseeker’s verbal permission, to a prospective employer. West-Can HR will ensure the individual grants consent for each specific position/occurrence before any information is released or any employment references are contacted.
Accuracy
West-Can HR will make every effort to ensure personal information remains current and is updated internally in a timely manner. Individuals are expected to update West-Can HR with any changes to their personal information. The information will only be updated when required for the intended, previously informed purposes.

West-Can HR uses reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect personal information gathered within the organization. Unfortunately, no system is guaranteed to be 100% secure. Where applicable as authorized or required by law, West-Can HR will do our best comply with your request as soon as possible. Please note that West-Can HR may require a request in writing and proof of identity before proceeding.
